Dr. Leticia Medina graduated from the School of Dentistry at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 1980. She continued her education at UNAM, earning a Master of Science in Oral Pathology from the Postgraduate Unit in 1985. During her postgraduate training, she served as an Assistant Professor of Oral Pathology at the School of Dentistry of the National School of Professional Studies, UNAM from 1981 to 1985.

In 1991, Dr. Medina earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) license in California after successfully completing the State Board Examination at Loma Linda University.

From 1991 to 1993, Dr. Medina practiced as an associate dentist in a family and pediatric dental office in Pasadena, California. In 1993, she established her own private practice with Dr. Roberto Pacheco in San Gabriel, where she provided comprehensive pediatric dental care to the local community.

In 1998, Dr. Medina and Dr. Pacheco opened their family dental practice in Santa Barbara. Over the next 27 years, they had the privilege of caring for three generations of patients, building lasting relationships founded on trust, compassion, and quality dental care.

Today, Dr. Medina has transitioned from private practice to a career focused on education and mentorship. Drawing on her extensive experience as both a practicing dentist and educator, she is dedicated to inspiring and mentoring students who aspire to pursue careers in dentistry. By sharing the knowledge, clinical expertise, and professional insights she has gained throughout her distinctive career, Dr. Medina is committed to helping future dental professionals develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed.
