Dental assistant training course



Our Dental Assistant Course is personally led by Dr. Pacheco and Dr. Medina, who bring over 35 years of combined experience in private dental practice, and teaching background at the National University of México. They offer hands-on training, and real-world insights, which will allow you to gain the practical skills and knowledge needed to succeed in today's dental field.
This comprehensive program combines theory covering essential topics of anatomy, infection control, sterilization protocols, OSHA and HIPAA compliance, as well as Dental Practice Act related to dental assisting.


Dr. Roberto Pacheco
Dr. Roberto Pacheco graduated from the School of Dentistry at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 1975. He continued his education at the National Polytechnic Institute, where he earned a Master's Degree in Morphology and Basic Sciences from the School of Medicine in 1977.
From 1979 to 1985, Dr. Pacheco served as Dean of the Department of Oral Pathology at the School of Dentistry of the National School of Professional Studies at UNAM. In 1990, he earned his California Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) license after successfully passing the California State Board Examination at Loma Linda University.
After practicing as an associate dentist from 1990 to 1993, Dr. Pacheco and Dr. Leticia Medina established their private dental practice in San Gabriel, California. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Dr. Pacheco completed advanced training in Cosmetic Dentistry in 1996 and Endodontics in 1998 at the UCLA School of Dentistry.
Later in 1998, Dr. Pacheco and Dr. Medina opened their family dental practice in Santa Barbara, where they provided comprehensive, compassionate dental care to three generations of patients for more than 27 years. Their commitment to clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and lasting relationships earned the trust of families throughout the community.
Today, Dr. Pacheco has retired from private practice and has dedicated his career to education and mentorship. Passionate about sharing the knowledge and clinical expertise he has gained over five decades, he is committed to mentoring the next generation of dental professionals. Through teaching, guidance, and leadership, Dr. Pacheco continues to contribute to the advancement of dentistry by inspiring excellence, lifelong learning, and compassionate patient care.
